Land

The Driftless area of Southwest Wisconsin together with the Ochooch mountain range are responsible for the natural beauty that surrounds us. Lush pastures, forests, wetlands and Kickapoo river frontage promote an abundant wildlife population. Besides deer, eagles, sandhill crane, trumpeter swans, blue herons and egrets, more unusual or endangered species are present at the Mother Earth Green Center. The cerulean warbler, red winged hawk and pickerel frog are among the many that made their home with us. Other valued assets are the springs that originate and flow through our property. Our main spring pond is a licensed operation populated with adult rainbow trout.

At present 120 acres are under organic and sustainable farm management with many more acres ready and available to be put in production. A mixture of sandy and heavier soils offers the opportunity to raise a wide variety of crops for human and animal consumption.
